determine our predispositions and
choices. Each of these factors play a
different role in determining who we
are attracted to and whether or not
those attractions bring peace of mind

The main factors
are Venus, the Moon, the Moon's
Nakshatra, the seventh House, the
seventh House ruler, and the D-9
relationship chart.
Let's look at each
one of these
separately.
Venus
shows what we are the most attracted
to and generally what makes us happy.
It shows how we interact with other
grown-ups, including relationship
partners. Venus brings a capacity to
yield our desires in order to please
another. It shows how well we operate
in this area of life, as well as the
things we will generally be attracted
to.
The
moon
shows that what
makes us feel peaceful and connected.
This is different than what makes us
happy (Venus). Sometimes the things
that make us happy do not actually
make us feel peaceful and connected.
The moon shows our desire and
capacity for selfless love, like the
love we have for children, animals
and our family. This love is
different than the conditional,
relationship love of
Venus.
- Assessing the
difference between the selfless love
of a parent (the Moon) and the
conditional love of the romantic
partner (Venus) is a big first step
in seeing how well boundaries are
maintained and the emotions navigated
in relationships.
The
birth Nakshatra
shows
our basic psychological temperament
and outlook. Also, it connects our
mind with a universal, spiritual
force and deity. The deep
psychological imprinting of our birth
Nakshatra, it's temperament, and
predispositions have a lot to do with
the type of partner we are - which
also shows the type of people we are
interested in.
The
seventh House
is the
field of relationships, not just with
romantic partners but with all
people. It basically shows how we
interact with others and how
functional we are in the realm of
compromise, self-assertion, etc.. The
seventh House is a house of desire,
showing the desires to want to
fulfill through other people and
romantic partners as well. Planets
that occupy the seventh House will
strongly affect the nature of our
relationships.
The
seventh House
ruler
shows the quality and nature of our
partners. The attributes of the
seventh House ruler are interlaced
with the qualities of Venus to see
the type of partners and partnerships
we have. We also look closely at
things influencing the seventh House
ruler to see the type of partners we
will get and whether or not they are
interesting to us, as shown by
Venus.
The
relationship chart
(D-9)
is the special
harmonic chart which shows
relationship partners and our luck /
karma with them. Much of our life on
Earth has to do with dealing with
other people and a strong D-9 chart
shows smooth or rough sailing in this
area. We compare this chart with the
birth chart and all relationship
indicators to see strength reinforced
or
diminished.
